Document signed ("DeWitt Clinton") as Mayor, on parchment with papered city seal, authorizing Michael Ulshoeffer to practice law in the Court of Common Pleas of the City of New York. New York, 18 May 1813. Parchment wrinkled -- CLAY, HENRY. Clipped signature ("Department of State H. Clay") -- [CLAY]. Campaign ribbon for Henry Clay, printed on silk -- WEBSTER, DANIEL. Clipped signature ("Daniel Webster") as Secretary of State (with paper seal present) -- HENRY, PATRICK. Clipped signature ("P.Henry") -- VARICK, RICHARD. Printed document signed ("Richd.
