A large collection of United States and World coins and paper money, part of which helps to illustrate the various travels undertaken by John A. Roosevelt. An interesting anecdote surrounding the 27 Morgan Dollars involves a trip to a Las Vegas, NV casino made by Eleanor Roosevelt. With a lucky pull of the handle of a slot machine, out came flooding these 27 Morgan Dollars. The Eisenhower dollars were collected because John A. Roosevelt was chairman of Citizens for Eisenhower and served on the President's Committee on Government Contracts, helping to enforce nondiscrimination clauses in industrial contracts with the Federal Government.
