Baum 1940" on the reverse. Watercolor and gouache on pressed paperboard, 14 3/4 x 21 3/4 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Damage and restoration to the corners, with the u.r. corner now detached but preserved and accompanying the work, tears to c.r. edge, nicks, wear, and small losses to the edges, toning, mat burn to lower edge. N.B. Presumably the W.E. Baum who purchased this work is the artist Walter Emerson Baum (American, 1884-1956).
