Rodwell and Martin were the publishers of 3 of the illustrated works by Cockburn listed in BMC, his Swiss Scenery (1820, 4°), Views to illustrate the Route of Mount Cennis (1822, 2°), and Views to illustrate the route of the Simplon (1822, 2°). However, the above plates do not fully conform with any of these publications. Without title, they include a number of views of Suza and the route between Suza and Turin, many attractive views of Lake Maggiore, also the arsenal at Geneva, the cathedral at Ossola, bridge of Crevola, village of the Simplon, and valley of Gondo.
