A nicely printed film review within a gold border authored by Koch for the 2006 film Wordplay, the review mentioning the Clintons. The lower margin is inscribed by then Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, "Ed-We have one more thing in common: puzzle phobia! All the best - Hillary." The review framed above the business card of Clinton's Chief of Staff Tamera Luzzatto who has also inscribed the card. Fine, unexamined out of frame; Together with a Condolence Letter from Barack Obama upon the Passing of Ed Koch in 2013. Washington, D.C.: 1 February 2013. One page typed letter on White House stationery with embossed seal, signed in autopen by the President, the letter praising Koch as a "tireless public servant and dynamic leader [who] poured his tremendous energy into serving the people of the city he loved and uplifted." A touching tribute to Koch in fine condition, accompanied by the original mailing envelope. A lighthearted film review by former mayor Koch on the 2006 crossword puzzle documentary Wordplay, which Koch found "a delight." The second paragraph of the review is devoted to the Clintons, and specifically to a note once recieved from Bill Clinton regarding Koch's name in a puzzle, to which Koch remarks "It is a treat to be mentioned in a puzzle, but especially nice to have it brought to my attention on one occasional by the former president and spouse, I hope, of our next president, Hillary."
