LEE REPORTS TO RICHMOND ON MOSBY'S PARTIZAN RANGERS' SUCCESSES AT CHANTILLY A brief military report, exceptional for its mention of John Singleton Mosby, written while Lee's and the army of Northern Virginia waited on the heights of Fredericksburg for an expected spring Union offensive: "On the 25th Inst[ant] Capt[ain J[oh]s S.
