Forsyth, 4.5 x 6.5 in.; 2 CDV-sized exposures of General John Milton Brannan, 4.5 x 6.5 in.; 2 CDV-sized exposures of General John Grubb Parke, 4.5 x 6.5 in.; 2 CDV-sized exposures of officer identified on accompanying label as General Henry Wagner Halleck (questionable), 4.5 x 5 5/8 in.; whole-plate exposure of Assistant Paymaster Henry Prince, 8 x 10 in.; whole-plate exposure of General James A. Hardie, 8 x 10 in.; whole-plate exposure of General William W. Belknap (broken), 8 x 10 in. Condition: Whole plate of William Belknap is broken, with loss in lower right corner, plus repaired cracks in lower left corner, with some flaking/loss of emulsion along perimeter; scratches in emulsion in lower left corner of one of the two CDV-sized exposures of General Brannan; some loss in emulsion along perimeter of whole plate exposure of General Hardie; Sherman exposures, with some minor emulsion loss/scratching along perimeter of plate; loss in top right corner of whole plate exposure of paymaster Henry Prince, plus some slight emulsion loss along perimeter of plate. Overall, a few scattered scratches and loss to emulsion on the negatives.
