Bufford in Boston, MA and printed by C.F. Morse & Co. Agents in Washington. The second is of an unknown soldier dressed in his coat with a rain cover over his kepi. It is back marked by S. Towle of Lowell, MA. The third image is of a Union Infantry officer with his hand inside his coat and sword and sash at his side. The image is back marked by W.L. Wilder, a photographer out of Laconia, N.H. The third image from the Lovejoy & Thompson Photographers in Bridgeport, CT. The unknown seated soldier is in his full dress uniform. Before entering into the military, he was a bookkeeper. Mustered into "A" Co. MA 1st Infantry, he was discharged for promotion in November of that same year. he continued to rise in rank over the next few years and fought in NY 31st Infantry and the MA 56th Infantry. He died in action on June 3, 1864 at Bethesda Church, VA. Condition: Toning on some of the cards. The soldier in dress uniform has faded a little. On three of the CDV's there are pencil markings from a previous owner.
