Handwritten in pencil on the pale green cover, the letter W encircled, 1881 Laurel Canyon , 1st scene 115-122 and the circled number 46 ; underneath the typed CITIZEN KANE, To Norman With Best Wishes Maurice . Pencil notes, additions and deletions of dialogue on pages 14, 100-107, 111-113, 130, 131. These represent the handwriting of two separate individuals. Some are in the hand of Kathryn Trosper, Orson Welles' secretary at that time; the remaining, almost certainly in Orson Welles handwriting, based on a careful comparison with Welles manuscripts in the collection of The Lilly Library at the University of Indiana.
