FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE of Churchill's first book--with the "12/97" publisher's advertisement at back. His gripping account of Sir Bindon Blood's punitive expedition against Afghani tribesmen, which Churchill joined as a correspondent for the Daily Telegraph and as an irrepressible fighter in some of the skirmishes.
