It is extremely kind of you to help me in this way', one page, 8vo , bifolium. Provenance : Sotheby's, 21 February 1978, lot 372.

It is extremely kind of you to help me in this way', one page, 8vo , bifolium. Provenance : Sotheby's, 21 February 1978, lot 372. Fresh from his South African exploits, Churchill found himself so much in demand as a speaker in advance of the general election that he was obliged to limit his engagements to helping personal friends -- in this case his cousin, Ivor Guest, who had won the Plymouth consituency at a by-election in February that year.
