Segment rechts unten (wie bei der ersten Ausgabe, die sicher im Jahre 1568 erschienen ist). – Vgl. auch in der Buchabteilung die Landtafeln als Atlas unter der Nummer 1140. – Prächtige Karte von Bayern, umrahmt von einer üppigen Fruchtgirlande, mit Rollwerkkartuschen, kleinen Gebietswappen und großer Wappendarstellung. – Sehr dekorativ. Ca. 168 x 162 cm. – Segments with some smaller defects, occasionally a little rubbed, minimally soiled and browned. – Mixed copy from the first and second edition of the rare map, probably in the year of first edition: with the designation "Philippi Apiani Med. et Mathematici, Praefatio" in the foreword and the initial "G" with a little boy (ill. by Hupp, p. 10) on the fourth plate (both like in the second edition of the plates which is probably from the year 1568) and the year 1567 and two woodcutter monograms in the 24th segment on the bottom right (like in the first edition, certainly published in the year 1568). – Compare also in the book section the tables as atlas under the number 1140. – Magnificent map of Bavaria, framed by a lush fruit garland, with scrollwork cartouches, small regional emblems and a large armorial illustration. – Very decorative.
