Lengthy inscription and signed by Chick Evans on the dedication page/first leaf: "Dear Dave: Many thanks for thinking of me on my birthday. I love hearing from Evans Scholars. Please accept this book as a token of my esteem and hope it will bring you many happy hours. My mother and I only wanted the education for caddies knowing how hard it was for us -- everything I did then and do now is for the future education and happiness for all caddies through the Evans Scholars Tradition. Gratefully, Chick Evans." Biography of Chick Evans whose competitive career spanned more than fifty years. D&J E8650. The lot also includes a well-read, well-worn copy of the First Trade Edition.
