Glorious cassis and currants taste. This is a great Margaux of huge richness and dimension. Stupendous. At 23 years old and from magnum, the concentration was huge, with glossy glycerol covering the power. Coats the mouth. A real 1986 Cabernet Sauvignon wine, as all the First Growth Medocs are this year. In large format, it needs 10-20 years more. In bottle in 2012, lovely, scented, cedarwood nose. Fruit, elegance and power with a great chocolatey taste. Superb. SS.
