Now the bottles burgeon the limits of the cellar, necessitating this sale. Verticals, horizontals and interesting mixed lots provide excellent opportunities for tastings and instant collections that would otherwise take years and numerous purchases to encounter. Though painstaking at stretches to ensure proper cataloguing in the midst of massive sheer volume, it was a pleasure to pull such gems from a carefully acquired and lovingly maintained collection. During this process, our collector related a good many delightful stories of his enjoying this varied collection and still maintains a significant portion for future tales of the vine and table. Property of a long-time New Jersey Collector. Removed from a temperature-controlled home cellar by Christie's specialists.
