Chateau Latour 1995 Chateau Latour 1995 Pauillac, 1er Cru Classe A nose of rose hips and totally classy red fruit, marked deep with Latour terroir - and it does not get much better than that. Exceptional fruit, tannin and acidity balance. Archetypal First Growth Pauillac and such an individual signature on the finish. Inimitable Latour, fully open and expressive at a dinner in Hong Kong in 2009. From an Imperial in 2011, lovely finesse of texture and massive red fruit. SS. Lot 5229 6 mags (owc) per lot: HKD 32000-46000 per lot: USD 4000-6000 A very good vintage throughout Bordeaux, with particularly beautiful Merlots. If I had to pick one area where the wines were simply stunning it would be Pessac-Leognan, but they are very attractive wherever you roam in the region. It was the perfect weather from 20 September until October that gave the desired ripeness, which shows beautifully in St.Emilion and Pomerol. SS. Quantity: 1
