A charming rare vintage 1940's ' Austin Junior Forty ' ( J40 ) child's pedal car. Metal body in red, with a tan leatherette seat, and original chrome fittings (including the ' A ' mascot), grille and number plate holder etc. Opening bonnet which reveals its original dummy engine with removable spark plugs and period battery. Opening boot lid with chrome handle. Beautiful example. Measures approx 154cm long. From a private collection of vintage pedal cars. Most of which have been fully and professionally restored to a better-than-factory condition. Where electrics are fitted, they are fully working, and where engines are fitted these too are also fully working.
