Book 1 begins at the outset of Ms. Holm's career with typed cast lists and descriptions of The Time of Your Life (1939-40), Eight O'Clock Tuesday , and others. Clippings commence in 1945 with Bloomer Girl and Three Little Girls in Blue . Several pages are devoted to Oklahoma! and includes an original playbill and large format program signed by Ms. Holm from the December 1st 1947 opening night of the first revival. Ms Holm went to Hollywood in 1948 and several pages are devoted to Gentleman's Agreement with much on her Oscar win. In 1952, Ms. Holm assumed the lead role for the ailing Gertrude Lawrence in The King and I and present are an original playbill and large format program depicting Ms. Holm on the cover. The 2nd Book continues in similar fashion documenting the 1950s, commencing with clippings relating to High Society and also including a large format program for Third Best Sport signed on the cover by Ms. Holm. The 3rd book brings Ms. Holm's career into the swingin' sixties and is highlighted by her turn as Mame and Candida . The 4th and final book is devoted to the 1970s, including materials relating to Ms. Holm's performances in Mama , Butterflies are Free , Tom Sawyer and others.
