A rare pair of images, forming a panoramic view of the falls. The photographer unfortunately unidentified. Early view of the falls, first photographed in 1840 by Hugh Pattison and more famously in the 1850s by Platt Babbitt. Lot Amendments Condition: Minor wear to case; images a bit tarnished around the edges, a few small mildew spots; otherwise very good and quite striking. Item number: 275994
