Winchester Model 1895 box magazine lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1912. Blued 24" round tapered rifled Nickel Steel barrel with integral blade front sight and 22 G rear sight (missing elevator) with Winchester Address and caliber marking ".30 U.S. MOD. 1903". Blued plain trigger solid frame action. Winchester standard grade walnut stocks with steel crescent buttplate and ebony inlay forearm. Comes with hook and eye factory style sling swivels. CONDITION: 70% fading barrel blue with some surface pitting and some added cold blue in spots. Action has some surface pitting with some cold blue applied. Wood has traces of original varnish with heavy usage dings and marks. Shootable bore with good mechanics. A hard caliber to find in a 1895.
