Beschreibung:

Remington introduced the Model 8 in 1906 and was produced until 1936 when it was replaced by the Model 81. It was the first successful American semi-automatic sporting arm designed by John Browning. The .35 Remington was the most powerful of the four available offerings. Features blued finish with straight grip walnut stock. Due to its fast loading nature, and the powerful .35 Remington cartridge, this was a favorite with lawman from the minute it was introduced. One of the most famous proponents of the Remington Model 8 was none other than Texas Ranger Frank Hammer. His Remington Model 8 now rests in the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame. It was his weapon of choice for the last 30 years of his service and was the gun in which he took down the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. Features standard sporting sights. Overall blue is approximately 90% throughout. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, beautifully grained with sling swivels and black composite buttplate with just a few of the usual dings. Some one has removed the rear peep sight and left three exposed holes on left side, which simply needs another sight applied. Fine bore and action. These guns were a mainstay in the eastern deep woods throughout the last century. Name Value Manufacturer Remington Model 8 Serial Number 10133 Caliber .35 Remington Barrel Length 22" FFL Status Curio & Relic
