Parker VHE Grade side by side shotgun with factory marked ventilated rib made by Parker Brothers Gun Company in 1925. Blued Vulcan Steel barrels with what appears to be a factory ventilated rib, twin beads, marked on top "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL", and ejectors. Case hardened boxlock No. 2 frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker Grip cap, German silver stock shield, added period spacers, and rubber recoil pad. Walnut checkered beavertail forearm with Deeley release latch. Serialization book does not list ventilated rib option or beavertail and recoil pad. Rib appears to be factory, but beavertail forearm is added non-factory item along with pad. CONDITION: 95% most likely redone with installation of rib. 80% original case colors with carry wear and screws turned. Wood has light coat of oil with forearm having a crack from iron to tip of release latch. Good bores with ejectors being a little sticky. Nice gun for further restoration or to shoot.
