This is a relatively scarce pistol in that it was newly made by DWM rather than a re-work, and it is not stamped "Made in Germany" therefore it was not intended as a commercial import. It has the German commercial proof with crown on left side of frame and bottom of barrel. DWM stamped on toggle. All matching numbers except grips not numbered. Blued wood bottom magazine has matching number. As this was a commercial pistol, it has the finely finished metal and rust blue with straw and fire blue parts. As to condition; it has the usual light muzzle wear, some wear on sideplate, and tips of rails. Still retains 90% or better original factory finish. This is a very difficult pistol to find as a newly made commercial not for export, especially in this condition.
