Printed on heavy brown paper. 4 illustrations, 2 each, by Burlyuk and Malevich. Original printed wrappers (spine and edges neatly restored, light staining near bottom edge). Provenance : Abuk (small price-stamp on back cover). FIRST EDITION. With two lithographs by Burlyuk, and two of Malevich's illustrations from Troe . A collection of prose and poetry in a Primitive style based on Slav legend ('Vila i leshii') and Slav themes, such as the patriotic appeal of 1908. Ex Libris 421; Hellyer 190 (lacking cover); The Russian Avant-Garde Book 68.
