Title printed in red and black, 99 hand-coloured engraved plates numbered Plate 2-Plate 100 but medals numbered from 1 (?lacking frontispiece, some light staining). Contemporary red half calf, spine gilt in compartments with black morocco lettering-piece (extremities rubbed and scuffed). Provenance : William Henry Goss (old pencil signature on title). With Thomas Carter's Medals of the British Army, and How They Were Won ... The Crimean Campaign (London, 1861, 6 hand-coloured plates). (2)
