A long time client of Christie's and a close friend of Michael Broadbent, many were purchased during the 1980s from Christie's in London where more often than not they were being sold for the first time. The wines offered here are the best of the best, careful in his selection the collection has however grown to such proportions that a little down sizing is now required. A tough task for someone who clearly loves his wines, but a bonus for clients of Christie's who now have the opportunity to purchase some very rare Madeira. Bottled in 1962 to celebrate the anniversary of Lomelino in 1970, the wine was specially selected for this occassion. This is an extremely rare Madeira and was originally purchased at Christie's in London in the mid 1980s. 1 bottle per lot
