Included are copies of Douglas Jerrold, The Handbook of Swindling; G. P. R. James The Fight of the Fiddlers; the "Phiz"-illustrated Works of Shakespeare, with hand-colored plates, circa 1860; "Phiz," Sketches of the Seaside Country; etc. Provenance: Valerie Browne Lester, Phiz's descendant and biographer, frequently with her bookplate.
