Extremely fine and toned, very rare £80-100 Footnote Mount St Mary’s College, Spinkhill (a hamlet now part of Sheffield), a Jesuit school formally opened in 1842, is now a co-educational facility. The founder was Fr Randall Lythgoe (1793-1855), the Provincial Superior of the Society of Jesus. The building on the medal depicts the improvements made to the structure in 1845 by the architect Joseph Hansom (1803-82), inventor of the Hansom cab
