(ARISTOTLE). BRICOT, THOMAS. Cursus optimarum questionum super philosophiam Aristotelis cum interpretatione textus modernorum: ac s[ecundu]m cursum magistri Georgij: [Bruxellensis] per magistrum Thomam Bricot sacre theologie professorem emendate. No place, printer or date (lacking last leaf with impressum, but probably Freiburg i. B., Kilian Fischer, 1494 or Johann Amerbach or Michael Furter in Basel, also 1494). Folio (275x202 mm.). 227 ll. (of 228, lacking last leaf signed II10). Double columns, mostly 64 lines, initials not filled in. 3 schematic woodcuts and 2 figurative woodcuts about 65x143 mm. Probably near contemporary half vellum binding, somewhat worn, covers of old (early 13th century) vellum manuscript from a breviary, with text for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, in red and black gothic minuscule writing with neumatic notation, the spine part of the covers blindstamped and with french liliacs in black, spine in five compartments, straps defective or lacking. 1 leaf with tear in outer margin. 2 leaves with inkstaines. Partly dampstained, about 50 leaves harder, partly browned. Contemporary marginal annotations. Title with annotations for example Jonas Laurenberch (?), Parochus Leontinus, and Carmeli Leontini.
