Cont. cf., spines gilt and raised in compartments w. red title labels, sides (over wooden brds.) all covered w. cloth in the late 19th c./early 20th c., edges marbled in blue. (Spine ends a bit chipped/worn/dam. in places, few scratches/some wear to spines, but very sound binds., occasional foxing and age-toning in places (for the greater part in the first 2 plate vols.), but for the greater part in very clean condition).
