LIMITED EDITION, one of 250 copies. Bonaparte, the son of Lucien, nephew of Napoleon I and cousin of Napoleon III, was an outstanding linguist, making a special study of the Basque language. He published some 260 books and articles. This is the catalogue of a hundred articles about fifty-five languages and dialects, twenty-three by himself (from 1847 onwards), the others by other authors, all of them reprinted for him in editions of 250 copies.
