Contemporary vellum wrapper, evidence of two fore-edge ties, title written on lower edges (a little stained, notes on front and back covers, 20th-century paper shelf label on front). Provenance : one title inscription deleted -- Giovanni Jacopo Bertagna of Castelnuovo (17th-century inscriptions, ownership verse on title verso). A fresh copy, in its contemporary vellum wrapper, of the second edition in Betussi's Italian translation. Adams B-2143; EDIT 6315.
