Engraved title, 104 double-page engraved maps of Germany and the Low Countries with the map of the World and Europe, 5 folding, French text. (Section of Flanders map torn away without loss, Zutphen sheet shaved, a further 15 sheets with clean tears to lower folds or margins, many maps creased along folds.) Original publisher's vellum, gilt (worn, section of vellum cut away from upper cover). Sold not subject to return. The copy collates as Koeman I Bl 16A, without the 20 inserted maps of Europe and Germany from the Appendix (Koeman numbers 2,5-7,9-11,13,14,26,31,41,47,50-52,57,83,119,120), and without the title to the second part. Four additional maps to the Koeman collation are bound in at the end, Britain, England, Scotland and Ireland. These sheets have various signatures but were obviously originally bound in.
