(1/1 pasted to front free endpaper, with short internal tears, scattered light marginal dampstaining, heavier at beginning and end, some occasional light staining, slight worming to first and last few leaves.) Contemporary pigskin over half-bevelled wooden boards, roll-tooled in blind, two clasps, ink lettered vellum spine labels; modern quarter calf folding case. Provenance : Graf Schweickhart von Helfenstein (1539-1599), (inscription dated 1578 on front free endpaper); Donaueschingen, Fürstenberg, Court Library (small gilt numbered vellum label on spine, sale Sotheby's London, 1 July 1994, lot 52).
