Green straight-grained morocco gilt, covers with gilt roll border enclosing a large gilt-tooled cathedral design, spines in two compartments each with a gilt-tooled cathedral design, gilt-tooled turn-ins, pink silk doublures and free endpapers, gilt edges concealing FORE-EDGE PAINTINGS of PALM SUNDAY ( Bible ) and THE LAST SUPPER ( Book of Common Prayer ) (lacking silk from upper endpaper of Bible , two leaves loose from gutter of Bible , text block completely detached from binding in the Book of Common Prayer , light rubbing to extremities of each volume); matching contemporary gilt-tooled green morocco-covered wooden box with crimson velvet lining, broken.
