not backlighted; cover appears to have been professionally restored; base has some light scratch marks; otherwise appears to be in good condition; base has impressed model no. 1175; both the cover and vessel are signed Bernard Moore; The ginger jar predominantly has a dark chocolate brown glaze with some tan and olive green coloration; There is a rouge flambe colored band around the bottom rim edge of the cover, top rim edge of the jar, and around the bottom of the jar; Signature also in this red coloration.
