Document signed (an extraordinary large signature in gothic and roman script, 'Ludwig Van Beethoven'), Vienna, 28 August 1826, a receipt for his five-months' allowance of 200 gulden of the 'convention coinage' ( Conventions Münze ) payable from Prince Rudolf Kinsky's treasury in Prague, countersigned with a confirmation of his residency by the priest C. Santner, numbered at head '236' and stamped ('30 Kreutzer W'), one page, folio (320 x 215mm) , papered seal. Beethoven's receipt for five months' allowance from 1 April to the end of August 1826, 'two hundred gulden of convention coinage (instead of 500 gulden of Viennese currency)'.
