A scarce promotional poster, evidently produced by a sporting-goods manufacturer to be given away with copies of Henry Chadwick's The Base Ball Players' Book of Reference or similar work. The sheet illustrates four jerseys, as well as a great variety of caps, pennants, and belts representing such early baseball clubs as Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland's Forest City, and XLCR of Jersey City.Condition ReportCondition as described in catalogue entry.
