On the north panel, Lou Gehrig's autograph appears, fully legible (4/10), but to a lesser degree than the Babe's. Another illegible signature is faintly penned beneath Gehrig. The ball's stampings have diminished, but appear to be that of an official National League ball. While the Gehrig signature is a valuable enhancement, the ball displays nicely as a Ruth single.
