Across Africa , London: Daldy, Isbister, 1877, 2 volumes, 8°, FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, half titles inscribed "Miss Alves from her affectionate Godson V. Lovett Cameron, January 19, '77," wood-engraved frontispieces, 31 plates, several folding, folding engraved map in pocket at end of volume I (partly browned, with small hole in blank area and two tears along folds), wood-engraved illustrations (dampstain to frontispiece and title of vol. I), original black cloth gilt (newly-rebacked in black morocco). With 22 other volumes on African travel, all bound in leather. (26)
