The two works bound in one volume. Contemporary green cloth, titled in gilt on spine, first work with original wrappers bound in. VERY RARE: Miss White was apparently Baines' daughter. Lot 1380 in the auction of her estate was 'A unique series of oil paintings by Thomas Baines .. 70 pictures in gilt frames'. This lot was evidently bought by Francis Edwards who offered 69 of the pictures for sale as a collection for £2000, or individually with prices ranging from £7 to £100.
