A scarce book, apparently the first book to describe the Fred Collins Fizz. The first part deals with home brewing, the manufacture of wines, spirits etc., the preparation and manipulation of, with the newest names... American drinks etc. The second part treats of all branches of cookery, confectionery etc. This item is a presentation copy, with the manuscript inscription reading "To Mr John Cotterill (?), with compliments from the authors.
