Autographs King George V The Royal Philatelic Collection 1926 (6 May) privately carried mourning A.L.S. and envelope on Buckingham Palace stationery to Viscountess Cave at the House of Lords. The letter reads, " My dear Lady Cave, I wish to tell you how much I appreciate your kindness in sending me that envelope with the Zanzibar stamps on it, of which your brother sent you before they were issued. I find that I had them only unused, so they will make a very valuable addition to my collection, in which I have already placed them." . The letter concludes, " We are living in anxious times, we must all pray that this terrible strike may soon come to an end" and is signed " George R.I." .
