Moderate vertical creases through the first 3 letters of "Longstreet" in his signature. To John Sergeant Wise. * Longstreet, James. Autograph Letter Signed. Gainesville, Ga., January 22, 1889. 1 page, 8vo; light to moderate creasing along old folds. Contents and signature clean and clear (a little light), vertical crease through the "m" of "James" in James Longstreet's signature. To John Sergeant Wise. * Mosby, John S. Autograph Letter Signed. Warrenton, Va., Sept. 8, 1874. 1 page, 4to; moderate creasing along old folds. Contents and signature clear and dark. Vertical crease through center of "Mosby" in John S. Mosby's signature. To John Sergeant Wise. * Mosby, John S. Warrenton, Va., September 28, 1874. 1 page, 4to; moderate creasing along old folds, a few contemporary ink stains.
