In this follow up to the previous letter, Warren asks about his friend’s injury, then reports on his time in Paris. In part: ”The orthopedic institutions I have carefully examined. They are conducted by scientific men and the charges wrought in them are great … My time has been so agreeably actively & [?] employed that I quit Paris with reluctance and begin my Italian tour on the 30.”
