He writes to the American financier Nicholas Biddle (1786-1844) who served as President of the second bank of the United States. He writes in part: "Enclosed is a note for $6000 drawn by Henry Stanbury & enclosed...made payable at your bank at 60 days..." Signed again T Ewing at top right corner.
