Desirous of some copies of his own books, perhaps to use in preparing his lectures, he writes to his English publisher: "My Dear Mr. Chatto: Won't you please send me a paper-covered copy of 'Innocents Abroad' & 'Roughing It' - & oblige Yours Faithfully, Samuel L.
