Collection of autograph letters including a number addressed to George, 5th Earl De La Warr as Lord Chamberlain, comprising: Sir Joshua Reynolds (autograph note in 3rd person, asking Madame Buccelli to sit tomorrow 'as he forgot he is engaged today at one o'clock', one page, 4to ), Arthur, 1st Duke of Wellington (two, to De La Warr, 12 January 1842 and 17 June 1843), Prince Albert (autograph letter signed to the same, 29 September 1845, on an arrangement concerning Lady Mary Fox, 'Windsor looks very fresh & clean. I had the stupidity to sprain my ancle [sic] which will deprive me of the shooting for some time'), Robert Peel (three, to the same, referring to Prince Albert in two), with a draft note (presumably by De La Warr) on a proposed opening to the public of Windsor Castle, including a sketched plan of the order of rooms, with 11 others, and two theatre programs.
