Macready (a number addressed to him as Adjutant General during World War I), the signatures including Admiral Jellicoe (16 February 1917), George Nathaniel, 1st Marquis Curzon of Kedleston (two), H.H. Asquith (two letters, 2 October 1916 and 11 January 1917), Bonar Law (cut signature), Edward Carson (on the 'unsatisfactory state of recruiting' in Ireland, 2 May 1916), Douglas Haig (6 January 1917), Edward Allenby, F.E. Smith and others, altogether approx 45 letters and fragments , tipped into the pages of an autograph album, 4to, black roan.
