Enthält, neben "Gargantua" (245 S.), "Second livre de Pantagruel" (S. 1-214), "Pantagrueline" (S. 215-233), "Le voyage & navigation que fist Panurge" (S. 234-320), "Tiers livre" (S. 1-280), "Quart livre des faictz et dictz heroiques du noble Pantagruel" (S. 281-349.). - Etwas gebräunt u. teilw. stock- u. etwas fingerfleckig. Titel oben mit kleiner aufgeklebter Bibliotheksnummer. Lagen B und C in Tl. III in sich verbunden. Vorsatz mit gest. Exlibris von G. C. v. Fechenbach. Very rare counterfeit edition published c. 1600 probably at Geneva, with numerous charming woodcut illustrations. - Some browning, foxing and thumbing, lacking final blanks in part 1 and last part otherwise complete, quires B and C in part 3 misbound, small mounted number on first title. Contemporary vellum, some spotting and browning, few small worm traces.
